Here is a pop up card I made for Father's day.   This is a bright red tool box pop up card.  This is a great card to make for those handy, do-It-yourself  dads who can fix anything.  I have to admit, I'm one of those dads.  I love to fix things around the house.   This card can also be used as birthday card for your fix-it dad or husband.    Here is a picture of the card opened.

The tool box can be opened to show the tools inside.  There is a power drill and a circular saw standing up right.  I made them yellow to model DeWALT power tools.  The yellow also gives the card a nice bright splash of color.

You can see other tools, such as a hammer, wrench and screw driver,  laid out on the top shelf of the tool box.  I put other tools around the card, which again adds more color to the card.

There is a monkey wrench and screwdriver on the bottom of the tool box.

Here is the front of the card.  The corners of the inside card are held by a wrench silhouette which can also be seen on the front of the card.

Here is a video of the card in action.  The video does a much better job in showing you how the card opens and closes.

I made a lot of different tools to decorate the card.  You do not need to use all of them, but maybe only your dad's favorite ones.  This card is easy and fun to make.  Please view my tutorial post to see how to make this Toolbox Pop Up Card.
