25 Dec Christmas Pop Up Card: Simple Pyramid Tree
Merry Christmas! I woke up this morning at 4am and couldn't get back to sleep, so I decided to finish this Simple Pyramid Christmas tree post. The original Christmas Pop Up Card design was a little harder to make than I thought. Therefore, I made a simple version to start. In this version, I removed the details in the tree and removed the peeing dog. What you have left is a simple pyramidal tree. This design will test the concept of a folding pyramid. Here is what the card looks like:
If you want to embellish this card, you can add Christmas tree ornaments and a cover. The ornaments will give it more color and the cover will give the card more stability. Here is a video of the card in action:
The tutorial for this card can be found here: Tutorial for the Simple Pyramid Christmas Tree.

Posted at 22:56h, 23 JanuaryHi, thanks for visiting my website. Sorry, I dont have a lotus flower tutorial. I used the same general template from Chatani’s flower cards in this book: https://www.amazon.com/Paradise-Origamic-Architecture-Masairo-Chatani/dp/4395270182/ref=sr_1_20?ie=UTF8&qid=1295851049&sr=8-20
Unfortunately, this book is out of print, so it’s super expensive.
