03 Aug Baby themed pop up card
It's been a while since my last tutorial, so I've been thinking about what to do next. I've reached that stage in life where many of my friends are having babies. We've already been to a few baby showers. So, I've decided to make a baby themed card next. This card can be used for baby shower invitations, thank you cards for gifts received at a baby shower, baby announcements, and “congratulations on having a baby” cards. I wanted to make something that could be used for both a baby girl or baby boy. In the future, I'll make some gender specific cards. I thought about baby symbols and came up with baby bottles, carriages, spoons, pacifiers, and bonnets. I've decided to make a pacifier. It seemed like the most universal symbol for a baby. It's also very recognizable. Since this card may be used for invitations or thank you cards, which will require many to be made, I will try to make it easy to assemble and put together. Stay tuned, to see it in the next few posts.

Posted at 18:34h, 04 AugustThat’s a great idea! But, I will start with something simple so it’s easy and fast to make. It could be pretty time consuming if you had to make 20 slice form cards for a baby shower. Thanks for the idea!
